Our distinct value - tons of activities, individually targeted and dead easy for staff to manage. kos is about interesting and brainy activities that children can choose from. kos is the best fun for school-age kids who are being looked after, and importantly, it saves heaps of care-givers' time. We worked with a team of 60 artists to make it a synch to manage the multi-ability level system in busy care centres that may have as many as 200 or more children. Even in the largest groups of children aged from 5 to 12, we deliver individualised activity packs. They are colour-coded for easy distribution and we've taken the headache out of supplying materials by listing whatever's needed on the front of each activity pack.
There are almost 800 individual packs with the program. kidsouttaschool keeps up with kids. As they grow up, so do the challenges they can choose to face. And so do the graphics! Children can continue through the program for years without ever coming across repeat material. Each pack contains at least 5 hours of activities. Children have ownership over their learning and over the stuff they create. The activity packs are individualised by having children's names on them.
kos is suitable for after-school care or as a learning tool to be used at home or care centre. Kids set their own pace, and take their productivity to any stage they like. We've got an informal credit system that acknowledges what they do.
Completing a pack means moving to another one at any chosen level. Kids like the accumulating certificates.
